Prayer does not always require many words or a perfect setting. A few quiet minutes offered faithfully each day can open our hearts to God and bring peace to even the busiest schedule.

Begin with gratitude, speak honestly about what is weighing on your heart, and leave a little silence to listen. Reading a short passage from the Gospel can also give direction to your prayer and a verse to carry throughout the day.

The goal is not to perform prayer perfectly, but to return to God consistently and trust that he is present.

The reminder to leave room for silence really helped me. I have started setting aside ten minutes each morning.

Simple and encouraging advice. Consistency has made a big difference in my prayer life.
